“Middle plasma”, central plasma retinal chorioretinopathy, prevalent in young and middle-aged people, more men than women. There are often triggering causes, lack of sleep, stress, mood swings, irregular life and so on. It is a disruption of the outer barrier of the retina, causing leakage of fluid from the choroidal capillaries through the RPE lesion, resulting in detachment of the retinal neuroepithelium. Generally, there is a sudden and mild loss of vision in one eye, darkening and distortion of visual objects, and a central dark area. There is a round-like edematous lesion in the macular region of the fundus. Uneven pigmentation may occur during the recovery period. After healing, visual acuity is restored, but may be left with distorted and small visual objects. Self-healing in about 3-6 months. Recurrence is possible. The disease is self-limiting, there is no effective drug treatment, emphasizing the removal of the cause of the disease.
