Patients present with hoarseness, which has the highest clinical occurrence. Patients may also experience throat discomfort, up to 70% throat obstruction and foreign body sensation, and a burning sensation in the throat. Patients may experience frequent throat clearing or a dry cough due to reflux. However, heartburn and chest pain are not often experienced.
