The most important clinical manifestation is the withdrawal of fever and rash, that is, after 3-5 days of fever, usually a high fever of about 39-40°C, the fever suddenly drops to normal and then a rose-red maculopapular rash appears. The rash mostly occurs in infants and young children under two years of age and is usually without prodromal symptoms. The child is in good spirits except for loss of appetite. The fever usually decreases to normal after 3-5 days, and the body temperature returns to normal within 24 hours, with a rose-red maculopapular rash appearing after the fever subsides. The rash usually appears first on the neck and trunk and then gradually spreads to the limbs and the face, and there is usually no rash on the palms and feet.
