Hemorrhoidal cysts are the pre-anal stage of perianal abscesses, which usually result from chronic inflammation of the sebaceous glands around the anus. Hemorrhoidal cysts are cystic occupying lesions that are still commonly caused by perianal infections. Cystic occupations may form due to blockage of the sweat glands in the anal skin. Patients may experience perianal discomfort, pain, blood in the stool, elevated body temperature, and in severe cases, secondary infection, which may result in the formation of a perianal abscess. Patients with hemorrhoidal cysts should choose surgical excision for treatment as early as possible, because recurrent episodes of other perianal diseases, such as hemorrhoids and anal fissure, can easily lead to aggravation of the condition. Patients should also eat a light diet, avoid spicy, stimulating food, keep the bowel movement, reduce anal irritation, prevent constipation, diarrhea and so on.
