Astigmatism symptoms

Astigmatism is a phenomenon of refractive irregularities in the eyes of the body. Patients with astigmatism have blurred vision in the near and distant objects, which may be caused by congenital or acquired habits. The common symptoms of astigmatism are: 1, vision loss: the degree of loss is related to the refractive index and the type of astigmatism, etc. If the astigmatism is physiological in nature, it has no effect on the body’s vision; if the astigmatism is very high, the vision loss will be obvious, and it is difficult to correct. 2. Visual fatigue: As the blurred images on the retina of patients with astigmatism need constant fine adjustment, it is easy to lead to the phenomenon of visual fatigue. 3. Blurred vision: The degree of blurred vision is closely related to the degree of astigmatism. Usually patients with mild astigmatism usually have normal vision, but will experience blurred vision and eye fatigue after prolonged eye use; patients with severe astigmatism will feel blurred when looking at both near and distant objects. Patients with astigmatism usually suffer from the above clinical manifestations, and it is recommended that patients with astigmatism over 75° wear astigmatic lenses for corrective treatment, or if the astigmatism is high, astigmatism can be treated by laser myopia surgery.
