The principles of treatment for ectopic pregnancy are mainly surgical, followed by non-surgical treatment. (1) Tubectomy: It is especially suitable for acute patients with internal bleeding complicated by shock. (2) conservative surgery: suitable for young women with fertility requirements, especially if the contralateral fallopian tube has been removed or has obvious lesions. (3) Traditional Chinese medicine treatment; (4) Chemotherapy: mainly for young patients with early ectopic pregnancy who require fertility preservation. The following conditions are generally met: a. tubal mass <3cm in diameter; b. tubal pregnancy without rupture or miscarriage; c. no obvious internal bleeding; d. blood β-HCG <2000u/l. Methotrexate (MTX) is commonly used for systemic medication, the mechanism of which is to inhibit trophoblast proliferation and destroy the villi, resulting in necrosis, shedding and resorption of embryonic tissue without surgery.
