There is no data to support whether a bright red nevus is deep or superficial, but it can be categorized into two types: median bright red nevus and lateral bright red nevus. Nevus erythematosus is mainly caused by capillary malformation, which exists at birth and occurs on the face and neck. 1. Median nevus erythematosus: located in the middle of the occipital area and the middle of the face. The skin lesions usually do not rise above the surface of the skin, and may gradually fade away with age. 2. Lateral type nevus erythematosus: located on one side of the face. The skin lesions may be higher than the skin surface or form nodules, mostly persist throughout life, and its color gradually deepens with age, often accompanied by other vascular malformations. In addition, it is recommended that patients with nevus erythematosus should go to regular hospitals and follow the doctor’s instructions to avoid delaying their condition.
