How much do you know about double eyelid repair?

For obvious asymmetry between the two sides, the eyelid is redesigned according to the ideal side and the incision on the failed side is redesigned to achieve a consistent result on both sides. If the eyelid is too wide or too narrow, the incision will be redesigned within 6 to 8 mm and the original incision will be removed. If the eyelid line disappears completely, a different surgical plan is chosen for the restoration. Different surgical plans are developed for different eye conditions. For triple eyelids, the skin on the upper edge of the incision can be pulled by hand frequently for 2 to 3 months to loosen and sag the skin and cover the excess heavy eyelid line. Alternatively, the original incision can be incised, the crease peeled and loosened, and the skin at the lower edge of the incision sutured upward over the original lid-skin adhesions. For trigeminal eyes, the eyelid line is redesigned and the width of the middle and outer part of the eyelid line is widened for double eyelid repair by making an incision along the original eyelid line and removing a portion of the upper eyelid skin from the middle and outer part of the upper edge of the incision so that the inner and outer widths are coordinated.
