Can brainstem infarction be cured?

Brainstem infarction is a kind of cerebral infarction, which is caused by the lack of oxygen and necrosis of brain cells after arterial occlusion. Although the dead brain cells cannot be revived, the manifestations of paralysis, slurred speech and difficulty in swallowing caused by brainstem infarction can be gradually relieved by rehabilitation treatment.
For severe brainstem infarcts, varying degrees of disability are often left behind.
