Can you drink cocktails with elevated blood uric acid?

Cocktails are not recommended for patients with elevated blood uric acid.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages, high-purine diets such as high-sugar diets, and strenuous exercise are not conducive to controlling blood uric acid levels in patients with elevated blood uric acid. Cocktails are mixed drinks that are made by mixing fruit juices, sodas, beverages, or wine with ingredients such as milk, coffee, and mint, and may contain alcohol or no alcohol.
Alcohol-containing cocktails can inhibit uric acid excretion and lead to an increase in uric acid synthesis, which further causes elevated blood uric acid. Even non-alcoholic cocktails mostly contain soda, fruit juices and other beverages with high sugar content, which may also cause an increase in uric acid synthesis, and therefore are not recommended to be drunk by patients with high blood uric acid.
Patients with elevated blood uric acid can go to the endocrinology department of regular hospitals, rheumatology and immunology departments and other related departments for detailed consultation.
