Circumcision big list: Korean, Japanese, European … read this article is enough!

Clinically, we often encounter some men who ask for Korean circumcision, European circumcision, Japanese circumcision, Thai circumcision …… and so on and so forth, all of which can be put together into the United Nations General Assembly …… In fact, these are the gimmicks of various medical institutions, in essence In essence, circumcision is divided into the following types: ordinary circumcision (head cutting), circumcision ring (also known as commercial ring), foreskin anastomosis (the so-called 3D titanium nail anastomosis that various institutions say is this), head off the sleeve circumcision and what I often call invisible root sleeve circumcision. The differences between these surgeries are briefly explained here: First, the common circumcision (head cut). It is the basic surgery that all urologists master at the very beginning. Some hospitals use the traditional knife, scissors, needle and wire pliers, while others use laser cutting, but in general the surgical results do not differ much. The advantage is that it is economical and doctors can generally master it; the disadvantage is that the appearance is not beautiful enough, easy to appear left and right asymmetry, and the scar of the suture is more obvious, and the bleeding during the operation is slightly more compared to other surgical methods.

Second, circumcision (commercial ring). I personally think that this is more suitable for children, and there is no obvious advantage for adults. The advantage is that the incision is neat and the operation time is short; the disadvantage is that the pain of removing the ring is obvious, the probability of bleeding caused by the incision splitting due to penile erection after removing the ring is high, the pain is strong and edema is obvious, in addition, some patients with circumcision cannot use this procedure.

Third, circumcision anastomosis surgery (3D titanium nail anastomosis). Similar to the last one, the advantages are simple and quick operation, short operation time and beautiful incision; the disadvantage is that the positioning is not easy to control, such as excision too much, too little, more on one side, less at a time, more below, less above, etc. is difficult to avoid. Not only the excessively long foreskin is removed, but also the blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and superficial fascia under the skin are removed, so the postoperative venous and lymphatic flow is impaired and the chance of edema is large.

Fourthly, head decapitation type circumcision. It is similar to the principle of invisible root sleeve circumcision I usually talk about, except that the operation is performed on the head and the surgical scar cannot be invisible after the operation.

Fifth, invisible root sleeve circumcision. Although the operation is time-consuming and laborious, the advantages of refinement are obvious. It not only avoids damage to the larger blood vessels of the superficial fascia such as the superficial dorsal vein, preserves the intact endothelial tissue, and reduces secondary bleeding and edema after surgery, but also avoids the traditional circumcision surgery where the ligament side is kept too long or too short and the ligament crease and outer plate skin do not anastomose to affect wound healing and aesthetics, which is called a refined circumcision surgery.
