Liposuction – the shaping effect is greater than the weight loss effect

Liposuction is a very mature plastic surgery procedure. Thick thighs, big belly, tiger’s back and waist, etc. can be shaped by liposuction to create long legs and thin waist. Liposuction can create a perfect body shape, however, the effect on weight reduction is really quite limited. It is not recommended to lose weight through liposuction. Liposuction is a shaping surgery, not a weight loss surgery, and is aimed at local fat accumulation, which is not ideal for weight loss. Liposuction is a kind of subcutaneous trauma, and the tissue will produce collagen and fibrous tissue during the repair process, shrinking the skin to a certain extent. After surgery, doctors will recommend wearing a shapewear for 1 to 3 months (the length of time will vary according to the amount of liposuction and individual differences, please follow the doctor’s instructions) to help the skin recover flat and firm. So the reminder of lipoplasty, shaping, is that your legs look thinner and longer. Your waist looks thinner, your arms look thinner, and your whole body looks slimmer. However, to reduce weight, you also need to rely on scientific exercise and reasonable diet.
