Duodenal ulcer is usually not cancerous, it is a benign lesion, but if the symptoms persist without relief, there is a certain possibility of cancer. Duodenal ulcer is a common and frequent disease of gastroenterology, mostly occurring in the duodenal bulb, and generally manifests as rhythmic epigastric pain, especially when hungry, often in various forms such as dull pain, burning pain, distension, severe pain and hunger-like discomfort, and accompanied by discomfort such as bloating, belching and acid reflux. Duodenal ulcers are generally well treated and the vast majority can be cured through pharmacological intervention and control of dietary factors. However, if duodenal ulcer continues to fail to relieve, or relapses with regular abdominal pain, bleeding symptoms and possible perforation, the possibility of malignancy should be highly suspected and gastroscopy and pathological examination are needed to determine whether there is cancer. Daily attention should be paid to rest, diet should be nutritious, light and easy to digest, eat less and more meals, quit smoking and drinking, and do not eat spicy, too cold, fried and other stimulating foods.
