How to treat a tick bite

After a tick bite, you should do a topical seal, remove the tick, and disinfect the area. 1. Topical sealing: Put paraffin oil drops around the tick to isolate the air around the tick, so that the tick will be deprived of oxygen and leave the skin. 2. Remove the tick: Use tweezers to grasp the tick near the skin and remove the tick smoothly in the direction of its entry, and be careful not to keep the mouthparts of the tick inside the skin. 3. Local disinfection: Dip a cotton ball in iodophor and disinfect the wound twice from the inside out, then wrap the wound with gauze and fix it with adhesive tape. In case of tick bites, consult the clinician, who will determine the treatment plan, and forbid rubbing the wound to avoid infection.
