Femoral head necrosis is a very painful and embarrassing disease. The course of the disease is very long and seriously affects the work and life of patients. There are also congenital dysplasia developing into femoral head necrosis or osteoarthritis, and this group of patients have long-term joint deformity, shortened lower limbs, and painful illnesses that make them unable to work. There are also congenital acquired deformities, lameness, image discrimination and difficulty in finding a job. Therefore, they are poor, poor at a young age, and the common method of treatment is artificial joint replacement: the cost is more expensive, and after all, it is a false thing no matter how good the artificial joint sooner or later to wear out, the first time, again or even more surgery and is a huge economic burden, especially the younger patients once the surgery more heavy economic and mental burden, all aspects of pain. Moreover, the majority of patients cannot afford the burden of surgery. Surgery is more popular, and there are many skilled doctors around the country, and the results are also very good. Surgery should be based on individual differences for patients to strive for excellent programs, minimize revision, and at least extend the life of an operation. There are countless lessons learned from various surgical approaches, and I don’t want to repeat them. I mainly want to discuss how to use non-surgical treatments to delay surgery as long as possible at an acceptable cost. Over the years, I have tried to treat many patients with non-surgical treatments, and there are nearly 100 cases, only two of which were not effective. I have not yet concluded long-term experience with non-surgical treatment, but it is certainly not harmful to the human body, and the low cost is generally acceptable to patients even if repeated treatment is repeated. Everyone will believe in the truth that the human body always has the ability to repair and restore its own things, no matter what the degree of aging or damage is, after all, living tissue, once replaced by a false one is completely hopeless, “to help patients repair”. The first step is to hope for relief, the degree of recovery and the degree of patient acceptance will vary from person to person. Many patients who have been sick since childhood, have insisted on half a lifetime, they certainly do not have the money, not because it looks good to do surgery, is painful to unbearable to do surgery, half a lifetime without much formal treatment, a little conservative treatment to see results can very well maintain a phase of remission can be accepted. So I have great confidence in non-surgical treatments for these populations. The one exception is when the femoral head is found to be fragmented, which makes conservative methods very difficult. The specific non-surgical therapy treatment simply says that TCM evidence-based treatment is the main one. These patients are relatively inactive and prone to long-term osteoporosis, which needs to be treated at the same time. Western medicine allopathic treatment is aimed at local blood circulation and etiology, while Chinese medicine evidence-based treatment is aimed at limited Western medicine pathology (although the cause of femoral head necrosis is not very clear) systemic regulation, combined with appropriate physiotherapy, adjusted at any time according to individual dialectic, combined with physical therapy for etiology and pathology, with good results. With the different characteristics of the individual disease at any time symptomatic treatment, can guarantee the effectiveness.
