What causes cervical enlargement

In clinical practice, there are two main causes of cervical hypertrophy: first, long-term stimulation by various acute and chronic inflammatory diseases, leading to hypertrophy of the glands and interstitium of the cervix and causing cervical hypertrophy. Secondly, the glandular cysts in the deep part of the cervix increase in size uniformly, which can cause the uterus to show different degrees of cervical hypertrophy and increased hardness. Usually, mild cervical hypertrophy mostly does not have any clinical manifestations. In the case of moderate or severe cervical hypertrophy, it can cause patients to experience specific discomfort such as back pain, lower abdomen and increased amount of leucorrhea. Patients can choose to use medications such as celiac plugs, pessary and other vaginal plugs for topical treatment according to the specific situation. If the cervix is too enlarged, you can also choose to use surgical treatment such as microwave, leep knife and self coagulation knife.
