Make an appointment for examination. 2. Routine examinations The visit takes about 2-3 hours and usually includes (depending on the case): (1) Creation of a major medical record. (2) Bite mold filing. Taking x-rays. Facial and occlusal photographs. (3) Joint examination, CT examination. (4) Take blood tests. (5) Make an appointment for the next visit. 3.Determine the treatment plan and discuss the treatment plan The consultation will take about 30 minutes, including: (1) The doctor will analyze and measure your dental models, x-rays and other information, and design one or more treatment plans suitable for you from the perspective of the best treatment effect. You can decide on a final treatment plan with your doctor based on your condition and requirements. (2) After the treatment plan is determined, the patient or his or her guardian signs and agrees to it. (3) Determine the cost of treatment and the cost of the type of aligner selected, and the patient or guardian signs and agrees. (4) Make an appointment for the next visit. 4. Wearing the aligners The visit will take 2-3 hours and will include: (1) The doctor will place the aligners on the patient’s teeth in one or more sessions depending on the patient’s condition. (2) The doctor will inform the patient about the use of the aligner and precautions, oral hygiene education. (3) Make an appointment for the next visit. (5) Regular follow-up appointments Regular follow-up appointments (usually once every 4 to 6 weeks) with the doctor will take about 0.5 hours, including: (1) The doctor will check the condition of the oral aligners and the progress of treatment, and proceed to the next treatment according to the condition. (2) Active cooperation of the patient. (3) Make an appointment for the next follow-up visit. 6. Removal of orthodontic appliances The visit takes 3 hours. At the end of treatment, the aligner is removed and the retainer is worn. After about two years of treatment, the orthodontic appliances can be removed and most patients start wearing retainers when the desired treatment effect is achieved.
