A cyst is a benign disease with a cystic structure with a cystic wall outside and fluid or other components inside. Whether a cyst will disappear on its own is mainly related to the nature of the cyst, the size of the cyst, the number of cysts, and the hormone level in the body. Ovarian cysts usually end up in three ways: first, they disappear on their own, second, they stay in place, and third, they continue to develop. If the cyst is generally small, with a diameter of less than 5 cm, it can be absorbed on its own and will disappear on its own, which is mostly seen in physiological cases. If the cysts are larger, more than 5 cm in diameter, most of them are pathological, and are caused by diseases that cause long cysts with more contents, it is difficult to disappear on their own, the contents grow slowly, the cysts will remain in place and not increase, if the disease persists and the condition continues to develop, the cysts will get bigger and bigger, it is more troublesome, it is possible that benign cysts become malignant. The cysts on the ovaries that do not disappear, cysts larger than 5 cm, persist, and even continue to grow larger, should not be taken lightly and should be treated with surgery in a timely manner. For small cysts, we can continue to observe their development, such as ovarian physiological cysts, cervical cysts, etc., which generally do not require treatment. If it is a vestibular gland cyst, it can be observed without symptoms, but if it keeps growing bigger, it needs to be operated as a stoma.
