Lumbar spinal stenosis is generally not self-healing, and most often requires treatment with functional exercises or medications such as celecoxib, or surgery to cure. Lumbar spinal stenosis can be caused by congenital developmental deformity or degeneration of the lumbar spine, trauma, etc. It usually causes patients to suffer from low back pain, numbness of the lower limbs, intermittent claudication and other symptoms. If the condition is mild, bed rest and lumbar and back muscle exercises such as swallow fly can have some effect. If the condition is more serious, the use of drugs such as celecoxib to reduce inflammation and relieve pain, or simple spinal decompression surgery and other surgical treatments can be prescribed. Patients suffering from lumbar spinal stenosis are advised to go to the hospital for appropriate treatment under the guidance of a doctor to avoid affecting the quality of life of the patient or aggravating the condition.
