If bleeding occurs during vaginal douching, the treatment should be judged according to the cause of the bleeding. If the amount of bleeding is small and the discharge is blood-like, the bleeding may be caused by unclean menstruation or broken capillaries during douching. If the bleeding is accompanied by abnormal discharge and odor, the bleeding may be caused by inflammatory infection and requires active anti-infection treatment. Due to vaginitis, cervicitis and other diseases, the pathogenic bacteria may cause upstream infection, local bacteria proliferation and damage to capillaries, which may lead to bleeding during vaginal douching. If the bleeding is caused by cervical polyps, the polyps should be treated and the bleeding will stop on its own after treatment. Due to mechanical stimulation by douching action, the polyp surface capillaries rupture and bleed, and the polyp tissue itself is caused by abnormal proliferation, which is prone to bleeding symptoms when it is larger. Therefore, it is recommended to consider surgical removal, and the bleeding symptoms will disappear after treatment. For patients with intermittent and heavy bleeding, it is recommended to use tranexamic acid tablets and other medications to symptomatically treat the bleeding symptoms.
