In particular, the former surgical textbook that the tether cannot be severed is wrong, the tether is a branch of the dorsal penile nerve, theoretically the severed tether not only does not affect erection, but also slightly reduces the sensitivity of the glans, which will later be beneficial to prolong intercourse.
(3) The incision is closed with absorbable sutures.
(4) Do not need to bandage after surgery, the penis covered with a paper cup, children wear internal medicine fixed to avoid friction between the wound and other parts of the body.
(5) postoperative do not need oral antibacterial and painkillers, stripping the adhesions of the foreskin healing process is similar to burns, should be clearly explained to parents, there is edema, crusting and decrusting process, do not see a discharge oozing suspicion of wound infection, children do not even need to come back to the hospital to review.
(6) The operation takes about 15 minutes, a little longer for adults, 20 minutes.
I have reservations about the circumcision, which is currently popular worldwide, because it is inconvenient to treat the ligature, and the slippage of the ligature can easily cause the inner and outer plates of the wound to split and the narrowing of the foreskin after healing, requiring another operation to shape it. Honestly, secondary surgery is a headache, and I have done nearly 300 patients who had poor results after their first surgery in the hospital, so there is so little room for you to play.
As for adult circumcision, it’s pretty much the same. If your wife and girlfriend are often infected with mold and increase the chances of cervical cancer, it’s better to get rid of it all.
The last cautionary tale is that weight loss is a very important thing that fat children have in common with fat adults: the shaking of the abdomen when running is significantly more than the penis.
