Right-sided heart is mainly due to developmental abnormalities. If the heart itself is not defective or functionally abnormal, it does not usually cause significant pathophysiological changes and does not require treatment and will not affect the patient’s natural life expectancy. If the patient has other congenital cardiovascular anomalies of the heart, palpitations, chest tightness and cyanosis may occur and may be fatal if not treated promptly.
