Why do you snore?

Whistling, the cause of whistling is caused by poor inspiratory airflow during sleep, whistling is common in life, but it is also a disease, medically referred to as sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome in severe cases. The causes of narrowing or obstruction of the whistling tract are mainly the following three categories: the first category for central reasons. We all know that whistling is controlled by the nerve center, the nerve center if the control of abnormalities, resulting in sleep pharyngeal muscle relaxation, tongue sliding or falling back, will block the airway, appearing to snore. This is most common in infants and children, especially premature infants, because of the imperfect development of the nervous system. Post-stroke patients in adults, who used to sleep without snoring and started to do so after they became ill, are also mostly due to this cause. The second category is obstructive causes. It is caused by narrowing of the airway in the nose, throat and pharynx, such as enlarged turbinates due to rhinitis, nasal obstruction, and enlarged tonsils or adenoids, which may lead to narrowing of the airway, with enlarged tonsils or adenoids being the most common cause of snoring in infants and children. The third category is mixed causes, where both of the above factors cause snoring to appear. In summary, there are many causes of snoring due to poor inhalation during sleep, and serious snoring can cause hyperventilation and hypoxia in the body, while symptoms such as dizziness and hypertension can occur, and children can affect growth and development, requiring timely consultation and appropriate treatment measures.
