With the development of the economy and the progress of society, people’s requirements for life are getting higher and higher. Health can no longer meet people’s interpretation of the quality of life, young and beautiful, has become the theme of many people’s lives. Female facial skin aging refers to the damage of both the morphological structure and physiological function of the facial skin, and its main symptoms are: lack of luster of the skin mucosa, reduced elasticity of the tissue, reduced water content, dull complexion, thinning, atrophy and wrinkling of the skin. As a long-established, natural, non-invasive beauty technology with few side effects, TCM is favored by many beauty lovers. There are seven or eight representative aging theories in Chinese medicine, which can be summarized into two categories: the main deficiency theory and the main deficiency theory. The kidney is the origin of the first day, which is the main reservoir of essence and contains yin and yang, so it is closely related to the speed of human aging and the length of life, and deficiency of kidney energy is the root cause of aging. The spleen and the stomach are the origin of the latter, the source of qi and blood biochemistry, the hub of all qi up and down, the root of the five viscera and six bowels, the source of positive qi, and the root of the body’s resistance to evil, recovery from illness, maintenance of vital energy, and life extension. Therefore, aging is closely related to the two organs of the spleen and kidney. Deficiency of the spleen and kidneys often leads to siltation over time. In the current research of anti-aging in Chinese medicine, deficiency of spleen and kidney causes aging is still the mainstream of anti-aging theory in Chinese medicine. Some people have counted about 71 TCM anti-aging prescriptions studied and reported in the past ten years since the founding of China, of which 61, or 86%, are based on tonifying the kidney and/or spleen. In recent years, by combining modern medical knowledge and experimental methods, and by understanding the results of animal experiments, some people have proposed “qi deficiency and blood stasis are the root causes of aging” and “deficiency-stasis-aging model”, reflecting a new view of aging mechanism. In conclusion, the deficiency of spleen and kidney with stasis is the culprit of the deficiency of essence, qi and spirit in human body and the loss of radiance of the face.
