The function of the cervical spine is closely related to the nutrition of the bones and muscles, and to the daily body position and posture. A good effect of rehabilitation treatment cannot be achieved without a scientific lifestyle. The following is our life guidance in the clinic: 1. Revised diet: (1) Dinner requirements: cereal porridge (drink millet, red lentils, mung beans, obese people + barley kernel), green vegetables, tofu. (2) milk, soy milk, not less than three days a week. (3) meat, not less than three days a week, preferably at breakfast and lunch! (4) seasonal fruit, not less than three days a week. (5) Nuts, three times a week. Sesame, walnuts, peanuts, etc. are available! (6) shrimp skin, seaweed, nori, 2 to 3 times a week. (7) leafy greens, no less than five times a week. (8) liver, children twice a week, adults once a week. Note: no sugar, drinks, “junk” food, avoid spicy, fried food! (2) corrective actions: (1) sleep: ensure 8 hours of sleep, prohibit prone sleep; (2) school bags: avoid carrying too heavy school bags (1.5kg or less); (3) study posture: special desks, reading and writing posture to be neutral. (4) Before going to bed, ensure 10 minutes in supine position and 10 minutes flat on your back. (5) beneficial activities: doing exercises, crawling, jumping rope, dancing. Note: Children should not squat and play, do not turn their heads to look backwards in class, hold the pencil in the correct position, and do not reprimand them! Parents need to know: lifestyle is the main factor that affects our health!
