Although some patients receive botulinum toxin treatment, they cannot tolerate the recurrence of botulinum toxin treatment. MVD treatment is reliable, but the indications must be mastered. The indications for MVD treatment of HFS are: 1. primary HFS; 2. no history of facial nerve injury; 3. no serious systemic disorders; 4. no contraindication to general anesthesia surgery.
