Treatment of cervical nuchal translucency

Cervical cyst is a common type of cervical cyst in obstetrics and gynecology clinics, which is a benign lesion and therefore does not require special treatment. At present, cervical cysts are usually detected by physical examination and need to be screened for cervical pre-cancer. If the result of cervical screening is normal, then no special treatment can be given and the patient can be instructed to have regular gynecological checkups and observe the changes of cervical cysts. If the result of cervical pre-cancer screening is abnormal, the next treatment plan should be decided based on the abnormal result. If necessary, cervical surgery is required. It should be emphasized here that some patients have large cervical nuchal translucency, and the enlarged cervical nuchal translucency can block the opening of the cervix and cause discomfort in sexual life. In this case, surgery is required. The surgical method can be either to remove the cervical sac or to puncture the cervical sac to facilitate the flow of its contents. Surgical treatment of cervical cysts can be done in an outpatient obstetrics and gynecology clinic and does not require hospitalization. The procedure is simpler, takes less time and causes less damage. In summary, cervical cysts do not require treatment in general, but in special cases surgical excision is necessary.
