If the patient has no abnormal feelings and no other symptoms other than conjunctival congestion, he/she can be conservatively observed first. Ice packs can reduce conjunctival congestion in the early stages of the disease and hot packs in the later stages can speed up the disappearance of congestion. Patients with severe disease should actively seek medical attention.
