Femtosecond laser treatment of myopia post-operative medication and precautions
  Myopic friends.
When you decide to undergo laser treatment, please read this brochure carefully so that you can understand the treatment process and related matters, so that you can actively cooperate with the treatment, because the treatment results are related to your cooperation. Let’s work together to achieve a satisfactory result.
  Pre-operative preparation
Maintain a normal life and take proper rest before treatment.
Take antibiotic eye drops as prescribed by the doctor.
On the day of treatment, do not use perfume, face cream, mascara and all other make-up products, because the smell and particles produced by them may affect the normal operation of the equipment and the cleanliness of the eyes, thus affecting the treatment effect.
On the day of treatment, you should arrange for someone to pick you up and drop you off, as it is difficult to move around after eye wrapping on that day.
  Treatment process
  1.Preparation process
Before entering the operating room, the eyes are cleaned in the preparation room, the eyelids and surrounding skin are disinfected, and surface anesthetic drops are applied to make the treatment painless.
  2.Treatment process
A.After entering the operating room, the doctor will guide you to sit on the 3D automatic lift chair, start the lift chair to make you lie flat under the host lens, the doctor will set your head in the right position and then stop turning your head.
  B. In a relaxing musical environment, the doctor uses the lid opener to hold your eyelids open and your eyes are to gaze at the microscope light above. While the doctor is operating, be careful to cooperate well by not squeezing your eyes and avoiding turning your eyeballs.
  C. When the doctor activates the laser, please look at the red light above you and fix your eye position so that the laser scan position is accurate. At this time, you can hear a slight “popping” sound of the laser and smell some scorching odor, this process will last for a few dozen seconds or so.

Some people may experience glare in the immediate postoperative period, so care should be taken when driving at night.
Some people may experience dry eyes after surgery and may use certain medications prescribed by the doctor.
Some people may have difficulty reading at close range. The older the person is and the higher the original prescription, the more severe it is, but it can be gradually relieved over time.

  Special Reminder
Laser treatment does not affect other physiological and pathological processes of the eye, such as presbyopia and pre-existing pathological changes in the fundus of the eye
The laser can correct existing myopia, but it cannot prevent the occurrence or development of myopia, so post-operative eye protection is still very important and should be taken seriously
Laser treatment can be repeated, for very rare high myopia, if there is partial refractive regression can be treated twice
