In the second trimester, i.e. 8 weeks of pregnancy, the fetal echoes as well as the fetal heartbeat can be seen clearly during an ultrasound examination under normal circumstances. If the fetus stops developing in the uterine cavity in the second month of pregnancy, the following manifestations or no symptoms may appear: 1, there is bloody discharge from the vagina, which can be manifested as brown discharge or bright red bleeding; 2, the pregnant woman will have the symptoms of dull abdominal pain after pregnancy, which is a normal phenomenon, and the lower abdomen can be swollen and painful discomfort after fetal arrest; 3, the swelling and painful symptoms of pregnant woman’s breast are obviously relieved, or even completely disappears; 4. nausea, vomiting, anorexia and other pregnancy vomiting reactions stop or are obviously relieved during pregnancy. When the above symptoms appear in the second month of pregnancy, the possibility of fetal abortion should be considered. The pregnant woman needs to go to the hospital for ultrasound examination in time to make a clear diagnosis. If no fetal heartbeat is found during the ultrasound examination, fetal abortion can be confirmed. Once the diagnosis of fetal abortion is confirmed, if the pregnant woman does not have a spontaneous abortion, she needs to undergo surgical curettage in time to remove the aborted fetus and residual tissues in the uterine cavity to avoid more serious conditions such as infection and bleeding.
