Pelvic adhesions refer to the adhesion of tissues and organs within the pelvis, including uterine adhesions and tubal adhesions, and are often secondary to gynaecological inflammatory diseases such as pelvic inflammatory disease, as well as after pelvic surgery such as appendectomy and fibroid surgery.
