If there are no typical symptoms, the test must be repeated to confirm the diagnosis.
Therefore, blood glucose 6.96mmol/L alone cannot determine diabetes, if it is fasting blood glucose 6.96mmol/L is impaired fasting blood glucose, if it is random blood glucose or 2-hour postprandial blood glucose 6.96mmol/L is within the normal range.
