Can gynecological inflammation cause back pain

Gynecological inflammation is the most common disease in women’s life, and its high incidence and wide range of people affected by it have drawn the attention of the majority of women. The symptoms of gynecological inflammation mainly include: itching and pain in the vulva and vagina, abnormal vaginal discharge, and pain in the lower abdomen. These are the typical symptoms of gynecological inflammation. However, some patients may also have some atypical symptoms, such as lower abdominal discomfort, falling sensation, lumbago, etc. It is because these symptoms are atypical that they often do not attract the attention of patients when they occur, thus causing delays in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological inflammatory diseases. Gynecological inflammation can spread within the pelvis as the disease progresses, further involving the surrounding organs and peritoneum. When pelvic inflammatory disease spreads, it can cause back pain symptoms under the stimulation of inflammation. However, the symptoms of low back pain need to be differentiated from localized organic lesions of the lumbar spine, such as herniated lumbar discs. Not all low back pain symptoms are caused by gynecological inflammation. Therefore, gynecological inflammation can cause low back pain symptoms, but when low back pain occurs, it is necessary to exclude the possibility of local organic lesions of the lumbar region before considering low back pain caused by gynecological inflammation.
