Surgery for suprahepatic lipoma is based on local excision, and smaller diagnosed lipomas can be temporarily observed. If there is obvious enlargement, it can be treated by surgery again. Since it is sometimes difficult to distinguish hepatic lipoma from malignant diseases such as liposarcoma, aggressive surgical resection should be the best treatment plan. Liver lipoma is soft and elastic, it has no obvious symptoms at the initial stage and will not bring uncomfortable feeling or pain to the patient, and the growth rate of benign liver lipoma is relatively slow. If the growth is too fast or too big, it is suspected to have the possibility of malignant transformation and needs to be treated by surgery, and the general surgical plan is partial hepatectomy, segmental hepatectomy and so on. Patients with hepatic lipoma need to strengthen dietary care to promote the reduction of symptoms and subside. Reasonable and balanced distribution of various nutrients, reasonable control of total calories, avoid spicy food, and be cautious of eating fat, sweet and greasy products.
