The meniscus is located at the outer edge of the rectus abdominis sheath, an arc extending between the ninth rib and the pubic symphysis, where the tendon membrane of the internal oblique muscle splits into two layers that are integrated into the anterior and posterior sheaths of the rectus abdominis muscle. An extra-abdominal hernia that develops as a result of a defect at the semilunar line is called a semilunar hernia. The lateral abdominal wall mass with fixed pressure pain is the main clinical signs of meniscus line hernia. In our daily life, we can prevent the occurrence of half-moon line hernia through some methods: 1, eat more vegetables and fruits, give up smoking habits, prevent constipation. 2, to avoid the rise in abdominal pressure activities, such as: coughing, hard to relieve, lifting heavy objects, long time up and down the stairs, hiking, cycling, motorcycle and running and other strenuous exercise to practice lifting the legs to prevent meniscus line hernia. 3, maintain a healthy body weight, strengthen the abdominal muscle exercise, increase muscle strength, to avoid the occurrence of meniscus line hernia.
