Is it true that universal acupuncture points exist for treating eye diseases?

There is no universal acupuncture point for treating eye diseases, and there is no scientific basis for this claim. Treatment of eye diseases commonly used acupoints are save bamboo points, eye points, fish waist points, silk bamboo hollow points. 1. Zanzhu Point: Located at the medial end of the eyebrow, at the supraorbital notch, it can treat orbital pain, drooping eyelids, redness and swelling of the eyes. 2. Euming Acupuncture Point: Located in the depression slightly above the corner of the inner canthus of the eye, it can treat redness and swelling of the eyes, blurred vision, and tears in the wind. 3. Fish Waist Acupuncture Point: located in the forehead, directly above the pupil and in the eyebrow, it can treat redness and swelling of the eyes, blurred vision, etc. 4. Silk Bamboo Point: located in the depression at the tip of the eyebrow, it can treat drooping eyelids, redness, swelling and pain of the eyes, and headache. Usually can be under the guidance of a physician to massage these points to achieve the purpose of health care, if the symptoms can not be relieved or to acupuncture points are recommended to the regular hospital acupuncture department, in order to avoid delaying the condition.
