Are t-wave changes organic cardiac disease?

t-wave changes are not necessarily organic heart disease, but may also be functional heart lesions or diseases other than the heart.
1. Organic diseases: for example, coronary heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, etc. can be manifested by t-wave changes.
2. Functional cardiac lesions: for example, myocardial ischemia in coronary artery heart disease will show changes in ECG, which can be manifested as arrhythmia such as conduction block, preexcitation syndrome, premature ventricular contractions and so on.
3. Diseases other than heart disease: for example, pneumothorax, pleurisy, emphysema and other diseases, can also appear t-wave changes.
The presence of t-wave changes does not necessarily indicate organic heart disease, and further cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography are needed for evaluation. Only when the symptoms as well as the auxiliary tests are consistent with the organic disease, and vice versa, it is not.
If there is any discomfort, one should consult a doctor and follow the medical advice.
