Symptoms of duodenal lipoma

Duodenal lipoma is usually benign, and its main symptoms are usually caused by the tumor compressing the intestines, bile ducts, pancreas and other nearby organs, such as abdominal pain, gastric distension, intestinal obstruction as well as bile duct and pancreatic duct obstruction. 1. Abdominal pain and distension: the tumor compresses the pylorus of the stomach or the lumen of the duodenum, resulting in obstruction of gastric emptying, which will lead to abdominal pain, distension, nausea and vomiting and other symptoms. 2. Biliary tract and pancreatic duct obstruction: if the lipoma presses the biliary tract and pancreatic duct, then obstructive jaundice, pancreatic duct obstruction and pancreatic duct cysts are likely to occur. It may even induce pancreatitis, biliary tract infections and other diseases, leading to severe abdominal pain and other symptoms. When duodenal lipoma is found, it should be observed and treated with surgical removal if necessary.
