Pregnancy with tuberculosis is generally not a good time to have a baby. This is because anti-tuberculosis drugs such as rifampin, isoniazid, ethambutol, pyrazinamide, etc., which are commonly used in the treatment of tuberculosis, have an effect on the fetus. Even if there is no anti-tuberculosis treatment, some patients with tuberculosis cannot have children because if a pregnant woman is infected with tuberculosis, if she does not receive regular anti-tuberculosis treatment, the tuberculosis will spread further, causing severe tuberculosis and even affecting the life of the pregnant woman and the fetus. Therefore, it is not recommended to have children regardless of the type of TB.
