What causes mucus in babies?

First, digestive tract diseases. These include inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, colorectal polyps and intestinal stasis, which are often accompanied by abdominal pain or other conditions such as blood in the stool.
Secondly, infectious diseases. Common ones like sepsis, typhoid, etc.
Thirdly, blood disorders. For example, neonatal haemorrhagic disease, haemophilia, leukaemia, aplastic anaemia, etc.
Parents should keep an eye on their children’s health and if they notice frequent mucus stools, they should take their babies to the hospital for routine check-ups and take appropriate treatment measures in time.
