Do you know how meningiomas are created?

Meningioma is a common brain tumor in life and many people are looking for treatment for meningioma, but today we will mainly talk about how meningioma arises. Meningioma is a cellular tumor belonging to the endothelium of the meninges, a relatively common benign tumor, and a very important tumor in the orbit, which occurs in middle-aged people, women for men. So, do you know how meningioma arises? The cause of meningioma is still unclear, but studies have shown that the occurrence of meningioma may be related to the following factors: 1. Congenital and genetic factors: The occurrence of meningioma may be related to genetic factors. During embryonic development some cells or tissues may stop growing and remain in the brain, which have the potential to differentiate and develop into brain tumors, the common ones are craniopharyngioma, chordoma, teratoma, epithelioid and dermatomatous cysts, etc. How do meningiomas arise? These congenital residual embryonic cells are mutated by viruses, radiation, and cancer-causing chemicals, and develop toward carcinogenesis, eventually leading to meningioma. 2.Biological factors: Biological factors are also one of the important causes of meningioma. Some experiments have confirmed that viruses (e.g. adenovirus, monkey vacuolavirus (SV40), sarcoma virus, etc.) can induce intracranial tumors in birds and vertebrates. The insertion of viruses into the chromosomes of cells alters the characteristics of chromosomal genes, causing changes in the original proliferative properties of the cells, which leads to the development of meningiomas. Therefore, biological factors are also one of the causes of meningioma. 3.Chemical factors: How does meningioma arise? The factors associated with meningioma also include chemical factors. Animal experiments have confirmed that a variety of chemicals can induce brain tumors (various gliomas, meningiomas, sarcomas, epithelial carcinomas, pituitary adenomas, etc.), such as methylcholanthrene, diphenylanthracene, benzopyridine, etc., N-nitroso compounds, etc. 4, physical factors: meningioma is also closely related to physical factors. Experts point out that some research data show that radiation can induce cancer of skin, lip, tongue and esophagus. The mechanism is that radiation can mutate the oncogene of intracranial fibroblasts or meningeal endothelial cells and cause cell carcinogenesis.
