What are the symptoms of novel coronavirus infection pneumonia

After infection with novel coronavirus, fever, malaise, and dry cough are the main manifestations. Some patients also have symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, diarrhea, and in severe cases, respiratory failure, and in later stages, serious complications such as sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and metabolic acidosis. A small number of mildly ill patients have only low-grade fever and malaise, and can resolve on their own after a week without pneumonia symptoms. Those who develop fever that does not subside and have a history of exposure to infected areas need to be seen in isolation at a hospital.
