Novel coronavirus is a type of coronavirus, which is a single-stranded RNA virus that can cause upper and lower respiratory tract infections after invading the body. The main symptoms are fever, malaise, dry cough, and in severe cases, respiratory distress. In a few critically ill patients, the disease progresses rapidly and may be combined with acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, uncorrectable metabolic acidosis and bleeding and clotting disorders.
