With the medical standard of living provided by people, there are more and more senior colon cancer rectal cancer patients over 80 years old. This part of patients often have underlying diseases such as heart disease, hypertension and diabetes, and their physical condition is much different from that of younger people. Many elderly patients give up treatment after rectal cancer colon cancer is detected. However, due to the progress of medical technology, advanced age is no longer an absolute contraindication to surgery, and patients can fully return to normal living condition and have a better expected survival time after surgery. Recently, we have successfully operated many cases of senior colon cancer rectal cancer patients over 80 years old, through detailed preoperative assessment, maximum minimally invasive and rapid surgery, close postoperative monitoring and timely adjustment of rehabilitation treatment plan, we have achieved very good results.
