How to confirm the diagnosis of flushing of the mouth and lips caused by herpes labialis?

Oral and labial herpes (facial herpes) is the most common type of herpes simplex. Common symptoms: flushing of the mouth and lips, appearance at the corners of the mouth and around the nose, numbness and tingling around the mouth and lips, blistering in the mouth, and blisters on the hands and feet. The initial local manifestations often start with burning, itching and flushing, followed by the appearance of dense clusters or groups of pinhead-sized blisters, smaller and more clustered than the primary type of blisters, rupture and vesicles, oozing, gradually drying and crusting. Diagnosis: 1. Small blisters or red, painful ulcers containing water appear around the mouth, initially with local burning, itching and flushing, followed by dense clusters or several clusters of small pinhead-sized blisters, rupture, vesicles, oozing, gradually drying and crusting, leaving temporary hyperpigmentation after healing. 2. The whole course of the disease is about 1 to 2 weeks, fever, flu-like symptoms and swollen lymph nodes in the neck may appear, and the above-mentioned symptoms usually appear in the first episode, while recurrent ulcers usually do not have the above-mentioned symptoms. 3. It usually occurs at the corners of the mouth, the edges of the lips, near the nostrils and other skin-mucous membrane junction, and also occurs on the face and lips.
