Arteriosclerotic heart disease, how to treat

Atherosclerotic heart disease is usually coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, referred to as coronary heart disease, usually need to take medication, lifestyle intervention, surgical treatment and other comprehensive treatment measures.
1. Drug therapy: Nitroglycerin or isosorbide nitrate should be used immediately when angina attack occurs, which can reduce the heart load and myocardial oxygen consumption, thus relieving angina. Lifestyle intervention: patients can exercise moderately to improve exercise tolerance and reduce symptoms; dietary intake of low-calorie, low-fat, low-cholesterol, low-salt diet, more vegetables, fruits and crude fiber food; quit smoking and alcohol; adjust the mindset, maintain psychological balance; avoid overwork, emotional, full meals, hard defecation, cold stimulation, and so on.
3. Surgery: If the patient’s coronary artery stenosis is greater than 75%, coronary angiography is needed, and percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass grafting can be performed according to the patient’s condition if necessary.
