Can you take progesterone during ovulation?

If a woman has regular menstruation, progesterone is generally not recommended during ovulation; if a woman has combined luteal insufficiency, progesterone can be taken orally by doctor’s advice 10 to 14 days before the next menstrual period.
Progesterone is a progesterone preparation, and supplementation ensures that the endothelium undergoes an adequate secretory phase response, which in turn ensures that the menstrual cycle is regular, and that withdrawal bleeding, i.e., the onset of menstruation, usually occurs within 1 week of stopping the medication. If a woman has normal sexual intercourse at the time of ovulation, progesterone supplementation can promote the smooth implantation of a fertilized egg, which in turn can play a role in preserving the fetus.
For women, progesterone should be taken under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used blindly, so as not to affect the normal menstrual cycle of women.
