In the early stage of femoral vein thrombosis, if the blocked blood vessel is not more than half of the circumference of the blood vessel and there is no edema in the lower limbs, some patients can be cured by conservative treatment; in case of femoral vein thrombosis completely blocking the vein, and there is movement disorder in the lower limbs, obvious edema in the lower limbs, or even femoral bruise, surgical treatment is needed. 1. Conservative treatment, mainly through the adequate amount of anticoagulants, anticoagulation, thrombolysis and other treatments, may make the thrombus dissolve, disappear, and achieve the effect of cure. Patients need to stay in bed for two weeks, elevate the affected limbs and prohibit massage and kneading to avoid thrombus dislodgement, and test the coagulation status and vascular ultrasound during the treatment period to understand the changes of thrombus. For the treatment of non-acute femoral vein thrombosis, mainly due to the mechanization of venous thrombosis, conservative treatment is adopted, at least anticoagulation for three months to half a year, according to the results of the review, the dosage and time of anticoagulant will be adjusted. 2. Surgical treatment is suitable for the ineffective conservative treatment and serious femoral vein thrombosis, usually take surgical incision to remove the thrombus, interventional thrombus removal and thrombolysis plus filter and other therapeutic means, the effect is accurate, the symptoms can be immediately improved, but also need regular anticoagulation treatment after surgery, try to avoid recurrence. Femoral vein thrombosis requires prompt medical treatment to avoid aggravation of the thrombus or dislodgement of the thrombus leading to serious complications.
