Is soursop leaf a mulberry leaf?

The leaves of Perilla frutescens are not mulberry leaves; the former are the dried leaves of Perilla frutescens, family Labiatae; the latter are the dried leaves of mulberry, family Moraceae. Perilla leaves are pungent in flavor and warm in nature. It belongs to the lung and spleen meridians. It can relieve surface cold (removing cold from the muscle surface), move qi and harmonize the stomach (regulating the stomach and internal organs by promoting the operation of qi). Used for wind-cold cold, cough and vomiting, vomiting in pregnancy, fish and crab poisoning. Mulberry leaves are sweet, bitter and cold in nature. It belongs to the lung and liver meridians. It has the effects of dispersing wind-heat, clearing lung and moistening dryness, clearing liver and improving eyesight (clearing liver fire to promote vision recovery). It is used for wind-heat cold, lung-heat dry cough, dizziness and headache, redness and blurred vision. Patients are advised to use the medicine under the guidance of a doctor, do not take the medicine by yourself to avoid delaying the condition.
