What’s wrong with shoulder abduction pain?

Shoulder abduction pain is considered to be related to shoulder arthritis, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury and other reasons.
1. Shoulder arthritis: Shoulder arthritis refers to the chronic damage to the cartilage of shoulder joint and the whole joint tissues due to the degeneration of shoulder joint, and the symptoms of shoulder joint pain and activity limitation appear, so it will cause shoulder joint abduction pain.
2. Frozen shoulder: due to the degeneration of soft tissues around the shoulder joint and the emergence of aseptic inflammation, which will cause shoulder joint pain and limitation of activities in all directions, and will also cause shoulder abduction pain.
3. Rotator cuff injury: rotator cuff is composed of subscapularis, supraspinatus, infraspinatus and teres minor tendons, which is similar to a sleeve-like structure surrounding the shoulder joint. When the rotator cuff is damaged under the influence of trauma or chronic strain, shoulder abduction pain will also occur.
It can be seen that there are many reasons for shoulder abduction pain. If the pain is severe and normal activities are affected, you should go to the hospital for further examination and treatment in time to avoid delaying the condition.
